Simple. Easy. Smart. The DGS-1100 family of switches is an affordable solution for SOHO and SMB businesses, as well as for deployments in branch offices, conference rooms of large enterprises, wherever basic management functions are required. Intuitive graphical user interface The DGS-1100's graphical user interface enables easy management of Layer 2 features such as VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and link aggregation (static). With powerful security features in the form of IGMP snooping, Static MAC and Storm Control tools, the DGS-1100 family switches are a versatile tool for environments requiring uncomplicated deployment and easy configuration solutions without unnecessary complexity. Easy deployment and management D-Link's free Network Assistant (DNA) provides information about all connected devices and speeds up initial configuration. The free D-View 7 network management system comes with a licence for 25 nodes and 2 probes and full access to management tools. An optional licence upgrade allows for expanded network and analysis capabilities. PoE budget The DGS-1100 switch family includes switches with a large PoE power budget for easy installation of IP phones, wireless access points and IP cameras. Easy troubleshooting With loop detection and cable connection diagnostics, the DGS-1100 switch family effectively supports administrators in troubleshooting network problems. The loop detection function detects the formation of a loop on a port and automatically closes it. Cable connection diagnostics, on the other hand, allows the quality of copper cables to be tested, the type of cables to be recognised and errors to be detected. Energy saving D-Link Green technology enables the DGS-1100 Smart series to save power without sacrifices. The majority of the family utilises a fanless design, for silent and energy efficient operation. All are IEEE 802.3az compliant and feature Link Status detection and Time-Based PoE (excluding DGS-1100-05PD and DGS-1100-08P models).
