Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros is an American folk-rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2007. The group is known for their eclectic sound, blending elements of folk, gospel, rock, and psychedelic music. The band was created by lead vocalist Alex Ebert, who adopted the persona of Edward Sharpe as a messianic figure.
